വടക്കഞ്ചേരി പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ 2 ഹയർസെക്കൻഡറി സ്കൂളുകളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് 1941ൽ സ്ഥാപിതമായ ആയക്കാട് സിഎ ഹയർസെക്കൻഡറി സ്കൂൾ 1930 ൽ ആരംഭിച്ച എൽ പി സ്കൂൾ ആണ് 1941ൽ ഹൈസ്കൂൾ ആയി ചാമി അയ്യർ ഹൈസ്കൂൾ എന്ന പേരിൽ അറിയപ്പെട്ട തുടങ്ങുന്നത്. 2018 ഇസാഫ് ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ഓഫ് സോഷ്യൽ എൻറർപ്രൈസസിന്റെ ഭാഗമായ പ്രചോദൻ ഡെവലപ്മെൻറ് സർവീസസ് സ്കൂളിനെ ഏറ്റെടുക്കുകയും തുടർന്ന് അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യങ്ങളിൽ വികസന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്ക് മുൻതൂക്കം കൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. 900 തിനടുത്ത് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ പഠിക്കുന്ന ഈ സ്ഥാപനത്തിൽ അമ്പതോളം ടീച്ചർമാർ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നു. അക്കാദമിക് മേഖലയിലും,കലാ കായിക രംഗത്തും വളരെയധികം ശ്രദ്ധ നേടുവാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞ ഏഴു വർഷങ്ങളിൽ നമ്മുടെ വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞു. വിവിധ പഞ്ചായത്ത് തലങ്ങളിലും, വിവിധ ജനപ്രതിനിധികളായും, സാമൂഹിക സാംസ്കാരിക പ്രവർത്തകരും ആയി ചേർന്ന് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുവാൻ നമ്മുടെ വിദ്യാലയത്തിന് കഴിഞ്ഞു. രണ്ടു വർഷത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ജില്ലയിലെ തന്നെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച സൗകര്യമുള്ള ഒരു പൊതു വിദ്യാലയമായി ഇതിനെ മാറ്റിയെടുക്കാൻ കഴിയും.
